What is Equally Safe Falkirk?

Barnardo’s, Aberlour & Falkirk Council are working to reduce  the impact of domestic abuse by:

Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) is a process that can support you,  your wider family and others close to you to come together in a way that is  safe, to help you to develop a Family Plan,  identifying ongoing support needs to keep you and your children safe from harm.


Your Coordinator will work with you and your family to help you to

The Trauma Support Service(TSS) can support you and your children to identify strengths, stay safe and heal from trauma.  


Where appropriate, and safe to do so, we can also work with those who have caused harm to help them to consider the impact of their behaviour on their family.


If needed, your Keyworker can also support you to attend m

Equally Safe Falkirk partner, Falkirk Council is delivering Safe & Together Training to a wide range of professionals who are in contact with families affected by domestic abuse on a regular basis.


Free accredited training aims to raise awareness, understanding and confidence of staff to identify and respond to domestic abuse concerns in
