What we do

Supporting those healing from domestic abuse in Falkirk

MAKE A REFERRAL

Supporting survivors

We understand that there may be times where you have had to make decisions that others might not understand, just to keep you and your children safe.

We can help you to develop a plan that will enable your family to function in a safe and nurturing environment.

If you are still living with the person who has caused harm, and it is safe to do so, we can also work with them to help them to understand the impact of their behaviour.

Supporting children & young people

We can support your children to heal from the impact of domestic abuse in ways that are appropriate to their needs, at a pace that is right for them.  All our work with children is non-blaming and trauma informed and will always place your children at the centre, taking account of their views and ensuring their safety.

Working with those who have caused harm

Are you worried about your behaviour towards your partner / ex partner?

Are you concerned about the impact your actions have on your children?

We can work with you to make better parenting choices and help you to develop strategies to avoid negative behaviours so that your family can feel safe in  a secure and loving home.

Training for professionals

"Destructive practice can cause harm to adult and child survivors of domestic abuse, making it harder for them to access support or assistance.  These practices act as a significant barrier to achieving Scotland's vision of ensuring children and young people grow up loved, safe and respected so that they are able to realise their full potential"

Safe & Together Institute

Safe & Together training helps to embed good practice, ensure organisations are domestic abuse and trauma-informed and able to provide appropriate and meaningful support to those impacted by domestic abuse.
